Over the last month, we’ve all experienced a major shift in how we connect and how we’re doing business. People all over the world are being asked to alter the way they do business and how customers interact with their business.
Almost overnight, we were asked to change. Change the way we live our lives. Change the way we work. Change the way we shop. Change the way we connect. Change the way we envision our future.
For those of us who are parents, kids are home and we’re tasked with facilitating learning and working remotely. A huge change.
Those of us who have built our business through training and live speaking engagements, we don’t have that opportunity at this time. Another huge change.
And, the question on everyone’s mind is: When are we going to get back to some semblance of “normal”?
Yes, it’s true that at some point this will end. The pandemic will end. Social distancing will end. Live events will come back. Schools will resume. People will go back to work. Much needed human interaction will recommence.
However, even though the reality is that this will eventually end, it may alter the way we do things in the future.
One thing we’ve learned through all of this is that the world can change in an instant. And, we must be able to respond to that change.
So, now is a fantastic opportunity to look at your business and consider how you can change things to create a new way of connecting with your clients.
This is the time to try new things and adapt. And GROW.
For instance, if you’ve built a business based on live events, how can you adapt to this new reality? How can you take your events to an online platform? Sure, it changes the way you do things in the interim, but when the world restarts, you have an additional platform on which to connect with your clients. Thus, your business grows.
This expansion benefits you and your clients, and they get to choose how they connect with you. Your business is flexible and will endure whatever challenges may arise.
Take this situation as a chance to look for new opportunities. Take stock of where your business has been and where it is now, then envision the future of your business, adapt, and expand.
I would love to hop on a call to discuss innovations for your business so that you’re able to continue to grow and thrive while social distancing….and beyond.
